Refund policy
TRW ARMORY RETURN & REFUND POLICY
Effective Date: August 10, 2026
TRW Armory wants customers to purchase with confidence. Because we sell specialized historical equipment, armor, combat equipment, standard-sized merchandise, and products that may be made or modified specifically for an individual customer, return eligibility depends on the type and condition of the product.
Eligible standard merchandise may be returned within 30 days of delivery, subject to the terms of this policy.
RETURN ELIGIBILITY
To qualify for a standard return, merchandise must be in substantially the same condition in which it was received. It must be unused, unaltered, and unworn except for reasonable indoor fit evaluation.
All original components, accessories, tags, and packaging should be included when applicable.
Proof of purchase is required.
Before returning merchandise, customers must contact TRW Armory at chris@trwarmory.com to request return authorization and return instructions.
Do not ship merchandise to TRW Armory, a manufacturer, supplier, or fulfillment location without authorization. Unauthorized returns may be refused or may experience substantial processing delays.
15% RESTOCKING FEE
Eligible standard merchandise returned because of customer preference, change of mind, or customer-selected sizing is subject to a 15% restocking fee based on the purchase price of the returned merchandise.
The restocking fee will be deducted from the amount otherwise eligible for refund.
The restocking fee will not apply when TRW Armory determines that merchandise was materially defective, damaged upon arrival, incorrectly supplied, or materially different from the approved order specifications.
STANDARD SIZING AND FIT
Customers are responsible for reviewing applicable sizing information, product measurements, and size charts before placing an order.
Differences in individual body proportions, personal fit preference, or selection of an incorrect standard size do not by themselves constitute a product defect.
Eligible unused standard-sized merchandise may still qualify for return or exchange under this policy.
If merchandise is supplied in a size materially different from the size ordered, or is manufactured materially outside agreed-upon specifications, TRW Armory will evaluate the matter as an incorrect or potentially defective item, as applicable.
MADE-TO-ORDER, CUSTOM, AND PERSONALIZED PRODUCTS
Products that are made, custom-sized, altered, engraved, personalized, customized, or otherwise produced specifically for an individual customer are generally final sale once production has begun.
Such merchandise is generally not eligible for return, exchange, or cancellation because of change of mind, personal preference, or customer-provided measurements or sizing selections once production has begun or customer-specific commitments have been incurred.
Customer-specific commitments may include materials, labor, customization, engraving, alteration, or other production expenses incurred by TRW Armory or its manufacturing partners.
Custom or made-to-order status does not eliminate any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights concerning merchandise that is materially defective, damaged, incorrectly supplied, or materially different from the approved order specifications.
ORDER CANCELLATIONS
Customers wishing to cancel an order should contact TRW Armory as soon as possible.
A cancellation request is not effective until confirmed by TRW Armory.
Standard orders that have not entered fulfillment may be eligible for cancellation.
Made-to-order, custom-sized, personalized, altered, engraved, or otherwise customer-specific orders generally cannot be canceled because of customer preference or change of mind after production has begun or after customer-specific materials, labor, customization, or other production commitments have been incurred.
Nothing in this section limits cancellation or refund rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
PRODUCTION AND SHIPPING TIMEFRAMES
Production and shipping timeframes provided for made-to-order, custom, or other merchandise are estimates unless TRW Armory expressly states otherwise.
TRW Armory will make reasonable efforts to provide accurate production and shipping information and will comply with applicable laws governing shipment of online orders.
If an order cannot be shipped within a shipment timeframe TRW Armory is required to honor, TRW Armory will provide any notice, revised shipment information, opportunity to consent to a delay, cancellation option, or refund required by applicable law.
Nothing in this policy limits a customer's rights concerning delayed or unfulfilled orders that cannot lawfully be waived.
ARMOR AND EQUIPMENT USED IN ACTIVITIES
Armor, protective equipment, clothing, weapons-related accessories, or other merchandise that has been used in combat, sparring, training, reenactment, competition, demonstrations, or similar activities is considered used and is not eligible for a standard return.
Reasonably trying on merchandise indoors solely to evaluate fit does not by itself constitute activity use, provided the merchandise remains clean, undamaged, unaltered, and otherwise eligible for return.
Evidence of activity use may include impact marks, scratches, dents, deformation, staining, excessive wear, modification, or other evidence that merchandise has been used beyond reasonable fit evaluation.
These restrictions do not eliminate rights or remedies concerning material defects or other matters that cannot lawfully be excluded.
SHIPPING DAMAGE
Customers should inspect merchandise as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.
Visible shipping damage should be reported to TRW Armory within 5 calendar days of delivery whenever reasonably possible.
Customers should retain the merchandise, shipping carton, protective packaging, shipping label, and other packing materials while a shipping claim is being evaluated.
TRW Armory may request photographs or video showing the merchandise, packaging, shipping label, and damage.
Prompt notification helps TRW Armory investigate the issue and pursue appropriate remedies with a carrier, manufacturer, supplier, or fulfillment partner.
Failure to report shipping damage within five days does not waive any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived.
DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, OR INCORRECT MERCHANDISE
If merchandise arrives materially damaged, materially defective, incorrect, or materially different from the approved order specifications, contact TRW Armory as soon as reasonably possible.
Please provide:
-
Your name and order number
-
A description of the issue
-
Photographs or video when reasonably helpful
-
Photographs of the packaging and shipping label when shipping damage is involved
Customers should retain the merchandise and original packaging while the matter is being evaluated unless instructed otherwise by TRW Armory.
TRW Armory will evaluate the circumstances and provide an appropriate remedy consistent with the circumstances and applicable law. Depending on the circumstances and applicable rights, a remedy may include repair, replacement, exchange, refund, or another appropriate resolution.
EXCHANGES
Eligible standard merchandise may qualify for exchange.
Customers must contact TRW Armory before returning merchandise for an exchange.
Merchandise submitted for exchange must satisfy the eligibility requirements of this policy.
Availability of replacement merchandise, sizes, or configurations cannot be guaranteed.
Made-to-order, custom-sized, personalized, altered, engraved, or activity-used merchandise is generally not eligible for exchange except where required by applicable law or where TRW Armory determines that the merchandise was materially defective, damaged upon arrival, incorrectly supplied, or materially different from the approved order specifications.
RETURN SHIPPING
For standard returns involving customer preference, change of mind, or customer-selected sizing, the customer is responsible for approved return-shipping costs.
When TRW Armory accepts responsibility for merchandise that was materially defective, damaged upon arrival, incorrectly supplied, or materially different from the approved order specifications, TRW Armory will provide appropriate return or resolution instructions.
Customers should not independently return merchandise to a manufacturer, supplier, or fulfillment partner.
Customers are responsible for adequately packaging authorized returns to prevent damage during return transportation.
For higher-value merchandise, TRW Armory may require or recommend a tracked and insured return-shipping method.
Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable except where otherwise required by applicable law or where TRW Armory determines otherwise.
REFUNDS
Once an authorized return is received and inspected, TRW Armory will notify the customer whether the return and refund have been approved.
Approved refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method.
For eligible standard returns, the 15% restocking fee and any other deductions permitted under this policy and applicable law may be deducted from the refund.
After TRW Armory issues an approved refund, additional processing time may be required by the customer's bank, card issuer, or payment provider.
Nothing in this refund procedure alters any different refund timing required by applicable law.
NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
The following merchandise is generally non-returnable:
-
Gift cards
-
Merchandise clearly identified as final sale
-
Made-to-order merchandise once production has begun
-
Custom-sized merchandise once production has begun
-
Personalized or engraved merchandise once production has begun
-
Customer-specific altered merchandise once production has begun
-
Merchandise used in combat, sparring, training, reenactment, competition, demonstrations, or similar activities
-
Merchandise damaged, altered, modified, or materially changed after delivery by the customer or another party
These exclusions do not apply where a return, refund, replacement, repair, or other remedy is required by applicable law or where TRW Armory determines that merchandise was materially defective, damaged upon arrival, incorrectly supplied, or materially different from the approved order specifications.
INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS
Consumer rights vary by jurisdiction.
Nothing in this policy is intended to waive or limit mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
Customers purchasing from jurisdictions that provide mandatory cancellation, return, refund, conformity, warranty, or other consumer protections retain those rights where applicable.
