Overview
This website is operated by TRW Armory LLC (“TRW Armory,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By visiting our website, purchasing products from us, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service and all policies referenced herein.
By using this website, you represent that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction.
Products and Product Descriptions
TRW Armory offers historical armor, protective equipment, clothing, accessories, collectibles, and related merchandise. We make reasonable efforts to accurately describe our products, materials, dimensions, intended applications, finishes, and other specifications.
Products described as “historically inspired,” “based on historical examples,” or similar terminology are informed by historical sources or surviving examples but may incorporate modern materials, manufacturing methods, sizing, safety considerations, or design modifications. Such terminology does not constitute a representation that an item is an exact historical reproduction.
Because many products are handmade or produced in small batches, minor variations in dimensions, finish, color, texture, tooling, or appearance may occur and are not necessarily defects.
Product Categories and Intended Use
Products may be designed or marketed for different applications, including costume or LARP use, historical reenactment, SCA activities, HEMA, Buhurt/combat sports, collecting, display, or other purposes.
Customers are responsible for reviewing the product description and selecting equipment appropriate for their intended activity. A product's suitability for one activity does not mean that it is suitable for every activity.
Rules and equipment requirements vary among organizations, events, jurisdictions, and sanctioning bodies and may change over time. Unless expressly stated otherwise, TRW Armory does not guarantee that any product will satisfy the rules of a particular organization, tournament, event, or governing body. Customers should verify current requirements before ordering or using equipment.
Armor, Protective Equipment, and Assumption of Risk
Historical martial arts, reenactment, sparring, combat sports, training, and similar activities involve inherent risks of serious bodily injury or death.
Armor and protective equipment may reduce certain risks but cannot eliminate them. No armor, helmet, garment, or other equipment sold by TRW Armory is represented as preventing all injuries.
Customers are responsible for proper fit, inspection, maintenance, adjustment, training, and use of their equipment and for determining whether equipment is appropriate for a particular activity.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TRW Armory is not responsible for injuries resulting from inherent risks of an activity, improper use, improper fit, unauthorized modification, inadequate maintenance, failure to follow applicable rules or instructions, or use of a product for an application for which it was not designed.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Sizing and Customer-Supplied Information
Customers are responsible for providing accurate measurements, sizing selections, personalization information, and other specifications requested when placing an order.
Customers should follow TRW Armory's measurement instructions when provided. Fit may vary according to body shape, undergarments, arming garments, padding, and the manner in which equipment is worn.
Made-to-Order, Customized, and Personalized Products
Certain products may be manufactured, sized, altered, engraved, personalized, or otherwise produced specifically for an individual customer. Production estimates are estimates rather than guaranteed completion dates unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
Once production of a customer-specific item has begun, changes or cancellations may not be possible. Return eligibility for these products is governed by our Return & Refund Policy and applicable law.
Orders and Pricing
We reserve the right to accept, decline, or cancel an order when reasonably necessary, including in cases involving pricing or listing errors, suspected fraud, product unavailability, inability to fulfill requested specifications, or other legitimate business reasons.
If we cancel an order after payment has been collected and no merchandise has been supplied, the appropriate amount will be refunded.
Prices, product availability, specifications, and offerings may change without notice before an order is accepted.
Manufacturing and Fulfillment
TRW Armory may work with independent manufacturers, craftspeople, suppliers, logistics providers, and fulfillment partners. Depending upon the product, an order may be manufactured or shipped from a location different from TRW Armory's business location.
The use of manufacturing or fulfillment partners does not change the customer's contractual relationship with TRW Armory when purchasing through our store.
Shipping, Customs, and Delivery
Shipping estimates are not guarantees. Delays may occur because of manufacturing, carriers, customs processing, weather, regulatory requirements, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
International customers may be responsible for applicable import duties, taxes, customs charges, brokerage fees, or other governmental charges unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout.

Returns and Refunds
Returns, exchanges, cancellations, and refunds are governed by the TRW Armory Return & Refund Policy. Where applicable law provides consumers with rights that cannot legally be waived, those rights remain unaffected.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise indicated, TRW Armory branding, logos, original photographs, graphics, written content, product documentation, and other original website materials are owned by or licensed to TRW Armory and may not be reproduced, commercially exploited, or represented as another business's materials without authorization.
Prohibited Use
You may not use our website or services for unlawful or fraudulent purposes, interfere with the operation or security of the website, attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts, submit false information, infringe intellectual-property rights, or otherwise use our services in violation of applicable law.
Third-Party Services
Certain portions of our store may rely upon third-party services, including payment processors, shipping providers, manufacturers, analytics services, or ecommerce technology. Their services may be governed by their own terms and privacy practices.
Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TRW Armory will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of our website, products, or services.
Any limitations contained in these Terms apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law and do not limit rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.
Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless TRW Armory LLC from third-party claims arising from your unlawful misuse of our website or products, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person's rights.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on our website at the time of use will apply, subject to applicable law and any rights arising from orders already accepted.
